Dr Hanna Gul joined the Releaf team in January 2024 as a Consultant Medical Doctor, focusing on the assessment and prescription of medicinal cannabis for patients unresponsive to conventional therapies. Based remotely in Leeds, she integrates her 14 years of NHS experience and board certification in rheumatology into her role at Releaf. Her responsibilities include reviewing and prescribing medicinal cannabis within a multi-disciplinary team, drawing on her expertise in managing conditions like osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, and chronic pain syndromes.

Dr Gul holds a Master's in Musculoskeletal Science from Oxford University and is pursuing a PhD in Medicine at the University of Leeds. With medical cannabis now a legal treatment option, Dr Gul is leveraging her expertise in rheumatology to assist patients battling chronic pain. Her contribution to Releaf is instrumental in improving the accessibility of treatments and changing the perception of medicinal cannabis application, aligning with Releaf's mission to provide personalised care to patients.
