How to take your medical cannabis medication

Releaf treatment plans
A Releaf treatment plan is unique to each patient; it can consist of oil, flower, or a combination of the two. We will help you to understand every aspect of your medication and during consultations, you can discuss dosage and effects with a specialist and raise any queries.
Administering your medical cannabis
If you have been prescribed flower as part of your treatment plan, follow these simple instructions below on how to consume your medication using your Omura vaporiser and Home Filling System:
1. Prepare the puck
Place a small amount of your flower into the centre of the puck, avoiding the edges. Replace and secure the lid.
2. Grind the flower
Rotate the puck lid to the left and right 3-4 times and give the puck a gentle shake.
3. Check the ground flower
Remove the lid of the puck to reveal your ground flower, it is now ready to insert into your Omura Flowersticks.
4. Prepare the Flowersticks
Open the lid of the Flowersticks and slide the pack into the Omura Home Fill System. Now sprinkle your ground flower evenly along the top of the Home Fill System. Use around 2g of flower to fill 16 Flowersticks.
5. Compact the flower
Push the flower into the Flowersticks using the tamping top of the Home Fill System. Ensure the top is pushed all the way down so the flower is fully compacted.
6. Load the vaporiser
Ensure your Omura device is charged. Insert a Flowerstick into the top of the vaporiser, flower side down. This will automatically turn the device on.
7. Activate the vaporiser
Your Omura vaporizer will vibrate and the lights will start to flash, indicating that it is warming up. After 20-30 seconds it will vibrate again and the lights will stop flashing. This means it is ready to use.
8. Consume your medication
Consume your flower by inhaling through the straw. Your vaporiser will vibrate again once all the flower in the Flowerstick has been consumed. This takes approximately 3 minutes

If you have been prescribed oil as part of your treatment plan, follow these simple instructions below on how to consume your medication:
1. Prepare
- Begin by washing your hands and placing the bottle, syringe and adaptor on a flat surface.
- Open the bottle. Some bottles have a ‘plug’ or adaptor already in place. If yours does not, firmly press the adaptor into the bottle neck.
2. Insert and invert
- Insert the tip of the clean and dry syringe into the bottle adaptor and press down until it is snug.
- Carefully invert the bottle so that the top of the bottle with the attached syringe is facing downwards.
3. Measure
Slowly withdraw the required dose, using the guide on the side of the syringe.
NOTE - IF AIR BUBBLES FORM, EMPTY THE SYRINGE BACK INTO THE BOTTLE AND REPEAT THE PROCESS.
4. Administer
Open your mouth and lift your tongue. Gently dispense the oil under your tongue.
WARNING - TRY NOT TO SQUIRT THE SOLUTION INTO THE BACK OF YOUR THROAT, AS THIS MAY CAUSE COUGHING.
5. Hold
Keep the oil under your tongue for at least 60 seconds to allow absorption.
6. Clean
Between uses, we recommend you clean the syringe and adaptor with warm, clean water.

Make sure your device is clean, fully charged, and the cartridge is firmly attached.
2. Activate
Click the button 5 times to turn it on (white light = ready). Double-click to preheat. Hold the button while inhaling, the device will gently vibrate after 3 seconds.
3. Inhale
Inhale slowly and steadily through the mouthpiece for 2 to 3 seconds. Hold your breath for a few seconds, then breathe out.
4. Wait
Start with just one inhalation. Wait 10 to 15 minutes to see how it affects you. If needed, you can take more, but only adjust your dose based on how you feel and what your doctor has told you. When not in use, store the cartridge upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
