Delivery
Common questions and answers about Releaf's medical cannabis delivery.
Once you make payment for your medication, the consultant will write the prescription within 24 hours. This prescription will be then reviewed within 24 hours by the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). The MDT is a team of specialists who will confirm that the treatment plan proposed is suitable for your condition(s). More often than not, both actions are taken in unison within 24 hours. Once the MDT approves the prescription, it will be sent to the pharmacy, as a physical copy is required for an order to be placed. This takes the process up to roughly 48 hours. Once the pharmacy receives your prescription, it will process it and dispatch it to you. We aim for you to receive your medication within 2-4 working days of payment being made.

All Releaf prescription deliveries are tracked through DPD, and require a PIN code from the patient for the delivery to take place. If you aren't going to be home, DPD will attempt to deliver for the following 2 days, before it is returned back to the pharmacy. Royal Mail will also attempt to deliver after 2 days and patients will also have the option to have their package delivered to a collection point.

To potentially receive a refund, there must be a valid reason if you are not satisfied with the items you have received in your prescription. Contact our Patient Support Team at support@releaf.co.uk to discuss any issues you have with your prescription. Patients who react negatively to medicinal cannabis and do not want to continue treatment may be entitled to a refund.

All patients are sent a DPD tracking number as soon as their prescription is dispatched from the pharmacy. All tracked DPD parcels require a PIN code before they can be received, so please make sure you are home to sign for your delivery and have your PIN code ready. If lost you can request your PIN code again from DPD. Royal Mail shipments of prescriptions will require a signature upon delivery.

Releaf was the first medical cannabis clinic in the UK which offered patients access to domestically-grown medical cannabis. We have worked tirelessly to secure a reliable and consistent supply chain, which means we can guarantee to deliver your treatments within 2-4 working days. Once the clinician has written your prescription and you have paid for your medication, we will notify the pharmacy and send them a hard copy of your prescription, which is required by law. Once received, the pharmacy will prepare and send out your medication using tracked delivery. We will email and text you to update you on the status of your delivery. You will also receive a DPD tracking number. Your medication should arrive within 2-4 working days. Remember you will need to sign for your medication when it arrives, so it's important to keep an eye on the delivery status and make sure you're home. Download our prescription delivery guide here. *Please note that shipments to Northern Ireland will take place with Royal Mail. Please allow an extra 2 days for shipping.
