What are the prescription ordering and delivery deadlines during the holiday period?
Here's what you need to know if you need to order your next Releaf prescription before (or during) the holiday period.
To guarantee that you receive your medication before Christmas, patients must place their orders by 4 PM on Monday, the 23rd of December 2024.
Our shipping partner, DPD, will operate as usual in the lead-up to the Christmas break, ensuring all deliveries are at our patients' doorsteps before the holiday break comes into effect.
If you need a new prescription filled during this time, we recommend checking your medication supply now and placing your order as early as possible.
When is the best time to order?
We definitely suggest that all patients try to place orders before midday on Friday, the 20th of December, to avoid any last-minute delays. These extra days will help both us here at Releaf, and our shipping partner DPD, ensure that your prescription is processed and shipped on time.
What are the clinic closure dates?
Our clinic will also be taking a short break during the festive period. The only days that Releaf will be completely closed are:
- The 25th and 26th of December 2024 (Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
- The 1st of January 2025 (New Year's Day)
Between the 27th and 31st of December, we will have a slightly reduced number of staff working, but patient support, pharmacy, and clinical team members will still be available to assist you as needed.
Releaf's operating hours will be 8:30 am - 5:30 pm on all days the clinic is open during the holiday period.
Is the Releaf Patient Portal Shop open throughout the holiday period?
The last day the shop is open before the holiday period is Friday the 20th of December, and it reopens on Monday the 30th of December. While you can still place an order during this time frame, it will not be processed or shipped until the shop reopens, so make sure to stock up in time!
It's worth noting that as the 1st of January is a Bank Holiday in the UK, the store will also be closed, however, it will resume usual trading hours as of the 2nd of January
