Landrace

The term "Landrace" refers to cannabis cultivars that have evolved in a specific region or climatic zone without human intervention. They are known for their unique and distinct characteristics, including flavour, aroma, and effects. Most cultivars are now hybrids, created by humans through breeding programs, whereas landrace cultivars remain genetically unaltered. These strains offer a direct connection to the original cannabis plants as they evolved naturally in regions like Afghanistan, India, or Thailand.
