Refer a friend to Releaf

The days are drawing in and Christmas is right around the corner. Many of us will be working our way down Christmas lists, trying to find the perfect presents for our loved ones. But what about giving something back to yourself while also helping out a friend or family member? You could do just that with the Releaf ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme, which launches tomorrow.

In 2023, we conducted a market research survey of the general public. We found that 52% of respondents would be supportive of a friend or family member who chose to use medical cannabis. With this in mind, we decided to come up with a way to support our patients while they supported their loved ones! Our Refer a Friend’ scheme launches tomorrow, and will reward existing patients when they refer a friend or family member to Releaf.

So, how does it work?

What is the Releaf ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme?

With our new ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme, existing Releaf patients with an active online account can earn a £50 Amazon Gift Card when they successfully refer someone they know to our medical cannabis clinic. You can generate a unique referral link on our website when you log in to your account. Then all you have to do is send this on to a friend, sit back, and wait for them to register with us!

What are the conditions of the scheme?

Amazon Gift Cards will be rewarded to existing Releaf patients who successfully refer a friend to us. In order to qualify, your referred friend/family member must:

  • Successfully register with Releaf
  • Book and attend a consultation with one of our specialist doctors
  • Be approved for a medical cannabis prescription
  • Purchase their prescription medication through Releaf

On completion of these steps, your reward will automatically be sent to the email address linked to your Releaf account - so make sure this is up to date! It can take up to three months for your gift card to be emailed to you. Rewards will not be processed if your referred friend cancels their consultation or does not purchase their medication within 90 days of receiving their prescription.

For more details about the Amazon Gift Card reward, visit the Amazon website.

Who can I refer?

Any existing Releaf patient with an active online account can take part in the scheme. However, your referred friend must not have been a Releaf patient in the last three months before registering with us through your referral link. Best of all, there is no limit to the number of referrals you can make!

Self-referrals and the creation of multiple patient accounts will result in disqualification from the scheme. Releaf reserves the right to modify the terms or terminate the ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme at any time. Download the full terms and conditions to learn more about the Releaf ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme.

What are you waiting for?

Our research showed us just how important it is for patients to feel supported by their loved ones. With the persistent stigma around cannabis-based medicines, this is arguably even more important for medical cannabis patients. With our ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme, you can show your support for your loved ones while also earning a small reward for yourself. So, what are you waiting for?

It is important to seek medical advice before starting any new treatments. The patient advisors at Releaf are available to provide expert advice and support. Alternatively, click here to book a consultation with one of our specialist doctors.
