Spectrum

CBD products are categorised along a spectrum depending on the presence and concentration of other cannabis compounds in the product. They can be classified into CBD isolates, broad spectrum and full spectrum products.

All CBD products can be classified into three categories depending upon their cannabis concentrates. At one end of the spectrum are CBD isolates that only contain one cannabis compound: pure cannabidiol, and at the opposing end are full spectrum CBD products, which contain the entire cannabis plant profile including small amounts of THC. Broad spectrum products contain many different cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids and tend to have an absence, or only trace concentrations of THC.
