Phytosanitary Certificate

Phytosanitary Certificates are issued for the import and export of plant matter when it has met the requirements in quality and safety.

In the UK, plants a Phytosanitary Certificate to prove that they have met the required standards during cultivation and harvesting stages, and so they are safe to be imported internationally. Issued by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, these certificates pertain to every type of plant, vegetable, seed, bulb and grain.
