HUG: High User Group
The term High User Group is often used in pharmacy, to describe a group of patients that receive high dosages of medicine.
In medical cannabis, patients who are prescribed over 90 grams of dried cannabis flower for medicinal purposes per month are categorised into the High User Group. Often referred to by pharmacists as HUG patients, this group is carefully monitored to ensure their safety and efficacy.
