HPLC: High Performance Liquid Chromatography

In analytical chemistry high performance liquid chromatography is used to isolate the constituents that make up a substance.

In medicinal cannabis, cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and many other different types of chemical compounds can be separated from each other using high performance liquid chromatography. This method is used to determine the potency and concentration of each chemical constituent in a particular cannabis product, by extracting its contents using a pressurised liquid.
