HEE: Health Education England

Health Education England is the national leadership organisation that is dedicated to securing a trained and educated workforce for health and social care organisations in England.

As an executive non-departmental public body of The Department of Health and Social Care, Health Education England (HEE) is supposed to provide education and training in healthcare on a national level. In 2019, HEE partnered with the NHS and the University of Birmingham to produce a training course for doctors called ‘Cannabis-based products for medicinal use programme’.
