Alcohol Extraction
Alcohol extraction is a process that removes chemicals from the cannabis plant using ethanol, denatured, or isopropyl alcohol.
The simplest method of alcohol extraction can be achieved after leaving cannabis to soak in alcohol for a number of weeks to draw out its cannabinoid contents. The cannabis is then removed and the alcohol is filtered from this liquid, leaving liquified cannabis extracts that can be manufactured into different cannabis-based products including tinctures, capsules, edibles and topicals.
