Rastafari

A young African-centric religion founded in Jamaica in the 1930s upon the coronation of King Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia.

The Rastafari religion has spiritual and political roots, being considered both a religious movement and a social movement. Rastafarianism has no central living figure or head, and those who practise are called Rastas or Rastafari.
